Earth Day Story Map

EARTH DAY STORY MAP

We are respectfully following the CDC guidelines and will not host our first organized town clean-up or the Earth Day hike as originally planned.

But, we welcome your participation, albeit in a different way.

Help us create a story about the communities' collective good works completed on behalf of the Earth.

During the month of April, GLLT encourages you to clean up the Earth wherever you may be, either inside or out, in your backyard, out for a stroll along the road, or on one of our trails, as a means of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.

Declutter, pick up, make the Earth sparkle.

Don your GLLT hat and wear gloves plus blaze orange as you do this.

And take photos. Send the photos to us along with GIS coordinates and/or a physical description of the location. We'll use them to create a Story Map of your good deeds on behalf of the Earth to share so that everyone can see that many hands doing a little can make a big difference (hopefully). Contact us with your photos and info: info@gllt.org
