Pegmatites of Oxford County. Granite pegmatites in the towns of Lovell, Stoneham, and Stow have yielded minerals of aesthetic, scientific, and commercial interest since the late nineteenth century. GLLT docent Mary McEvoy and retired geologist Brian Hammond will highlight the history and finds of the pegmatites in our neck of the woods.
