Local certified Arborist Eli Hutchins of Hutch’s Tree will discuss the Spongy Moth (formerly known as Gypsy Moth) outbreak of the past two years in Oxford County and touch on the short and long term implications for the forest and trees. He’ll provide information about what insects are in the area, and those that are not here yet. Finally, he’ll introduce the ArborJet Tree Injection System and discuss a number of different injectables that can be used effectively to treat trees for many plant stressors, including preventative maintenance against defoliating insects.
