Hewnoaks Artist Residency and the Greater Lovell Land Trust are delighted to announce the fourth annual edition of Wild Light! Combining the atmosphere of a casual summer cookout, lawn party, and open house, this one-day art exhibition is the highlight of Hewnoaks' summer programming calendar, showcasing an eclectic selection of artworks from Hewnoaks alumni and Oxford County artists.

Immerse yourself in an array of artforms, from painting to dance and live music, and enjoy delightful refreshments, all set against the enchanting backdrop of one of Maine’s most storied Arts & Crafts-era creative retreats.

Building on last year’s success, this summer’s celebration will once again be a three-way collaboration between Hewnoaks, the Greater Lovell Land Trust and Lights Out Gallery. We're featuring works that not only pay tribute to the natural beauty of western Maine but explore the mystery and awe that have animated encounters between artists and this unique landscape for generations.

This event is offered at no cost and open to the public. Artworks will be for sale.
