Consider these Giving Options
Stock & Securities
Gifts of securities, common stock or mutual funds can yield a double tax benefit. Gifts of appreciated securities offer potential capital gains tax savings. In addition, you typically receive a charitable deduction for the value of the securities contributed.
Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
You can create a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of support charitable organizations you care about.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)
QCDs allow individuals who are 70ยฝ years old or older to donate up to $105,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions.
Benficiary Designations
You can name the GLLT as beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k) or other form of qualified retirement plan account. Income tax and estate tax are avoided when this type of asset is paid directly to the GLLT.

Additionally, the GLLT considers gifts of land or conservation easements. Note that lands do not have to have conservation value to benefit the land trust. Contact us to learn more.
