Join Maine Master Naturalist instructor Jeff Pengel to discover the diminutive world of mosses and liverworts. Expect to spend a lot of time bent over examining the subtle and often amazing features of these abundant but usually overlooked plants. Jeff will cover basic ID but avoid hardcore identification and most technical vocabulary while explaining their ecology and unique biological adaptations.
