In this class you will learn how to identify features on a map, use a compass, determine your pace, plot a course on a map and use the declination diagram to convert grid north to magnetic north. We will begin inside with some basic instruction, then go out to the field to test our knowledge. We have all the materials you will need.  Be prepared to spend some time outside in a field and in the woods. Registration required.
