Janet and Mark Gerner will be leading Roots and Rocks this Thursday. This week we plan to hike/run Perky’s Path and Flat Hill trails. Four new bog bridges were installed last week on Perky’s Path by the Groundhogs. Before heading out from the parking area, we will break into 2 groups. The first group will hike the trail while the other group runs the route. 

We will meet at 5:30pm in the GLLT parking lot #1 at the end of Heald Pond Rd.

Directions are as follows: Take Slab City Road past the Heald Pond Trailhead. Continue 3/4 mile along Heald Pond. Heald Pond Rd will be on your left. Turn left on Heald Pond Rd. There is a street sign at the entrance to the road.  Follow the road all the way to the end, where there is parking.
